Oxford Talks is a media technology company based in Oxford, United Kingdom. In 2016, we started our journey working with the non-profit TED, where we witnessed world-changing ideas across the globe from the fields of Technology, Entertainment and Design.
In 2018, we discovered the next big trend that will shape how we think and behave would be in the augmented and virtual reality sector, and since then, we have devoted our expertise and time to learn about web 3.0 technologies how they can help rewrite the rules of media and information engagement.
We are unique in the way we operate at Oxford Talks; we have pledged never to engage in sponsorships that will dictate our narrative or sell data of our communities to advertisers to make money. The mainstream adoption of Blockchain technology and its application of NFTs allow us to deploy innovative business models, setting new engagement standards with our audience in a post-data exploitation era.
In 2022, we embarked on our most audacious journey so far, spanning two years across 35 countries and 50 cities 'Brave New World' plans to identify 2500 ideas that have the power to shape the times we are living. Along the way, our mission is to raise £1M for charities across these cities and set a new standard of running a modern social and eco-conscious business.
